Playtika’s Bingo Blitz is not only keeping people entertained during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s keeping them fed!
In order to provide warm meals to those most harshly affected by the Coronavirus outbreak, Bingo Blitz donated 10 meals for every virtual meal created by Bingo Blitz’s players in its Chef feature.
The free to play bingo game donated $1 to Feeding America for each virtual meal, which - with 1 million players and counting, worldwide - is making a real difference in hard-hit communities nationwide.
Feeding America serves almost every community throughout the US: over 40 million people, including 7 million senior citizens and 12 million children, to provide essential hunger relief.
Bingo Blitz’s general manager, Dudu Dahan, stated how much of a privilege it is to partner with Feeding America, and to be “supporting crucial work. For the first time ever, it is now possible for players to genuinely help people just by playing a game with their friends. We want to show that gaming is not just a way to relax, have fun and be connected with others, but that it can also be a powerful tool for building a better society”.
