Here’s my ultimate guide to making your own free, printable bingo cards for any and every occasion!

Looking for Free Bingo Cards? Learn To Make Them Yourself.

While there are loads of options for cool free bingo cards online, you’ll probably find they have some kind of watermark on them, or that they’re not quite your taste.

With my quick and easy free bingo cards tutorial, you can personalize your bingo cards to just the way you want them – and even make several decks!

It’s super easy to do too – the only thing you need is a limitless supply of…Your imagination!

Here’s how you can make your very own exciting bingo cards!

Create Custom Bingo Cards for Every Occasion

I pride myself on having a set of custom bingo cards for every occasion – and I even make them for my friends too! I made a really lovely bingo card set as a gift for a new godson’s baptism, and another custom bingo card set for a friend’s wedding.

Custom bingo cards can be a gift, occasion-friendly (my awesome Christmas-themed bingo card set really went down a treat! ), or even just for yourself (such as the custom bingo card set I made for my family).

Here are the quick and easy steps you need to take.

maybe it’s an English thing, but this is phrase – ‘it went down a treat’

6 Steps to Making Printable Bingo Cards

Making your own printable bingo cards is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  • Step 1: open a new document on your computer – this can be Word doc, or Google docs, or any other program you like!
  • Step 2: create a table. This is usually under the ‘format’ button in your toolbar. You can create a 3×3 table, 4×4, 5×5 or any other table – it’s up to you how many squares you’d like your printable bingo cards to have!
  • Step 3: Make sure each of the squares are evenly spaced – you can do this by pressing the spacebar enough items until each square looks like a square.
  • Step 4: in the middle of your printable bingo cards, block off the ‘free’ space – it’s very important to remember to do this, unless you’d like the added challenge of not having a ‘free’ space on your printable bingo card!
  • Step 5: it’s time to get creative! Use pictures for your family, words, captions and any other type of image or decoration you’d like – the sky really is the limit, as is your creativity! Get those creative juices flowing!
  • Step 6: print out your printable bingo cards! If you want something a little more fancy, you could always take your design to a local printing shop and have them print them for you – otherwise, printing them at home should be just fine! I like to add a nice layer of sticky back plastic/laminate to make sure my bingo cards stay safe and strong during my bingo games!

I’ve added the ‘Free!’ space in there, as well as the ‘BINGO’ at the top (although this isn’t strictly necessary – it just looks nicer!)

From here, all you need to do to use this bingo card template, is press the control + C buttons on your computer, and paste it into your document, by using the control + V buttons. From there, it’s time to start adding any and every cool image, text and more that you can think of!

Here are some cool ideas to get you started –

  • Use images of your family, and their names – you can repeat family members if you don’t have a large family, or if you do, you can use distant relatives’ names and images – everyone likes to be a part of something, after all!
  • Different types of flowers – using images of these and their names not only makes for a nice-looking set of bingo cards, but it can also be educational!
  • Names of subjects at school – this makes for a family favorite!
  • Names of your friends – this is great if you’re planning a really big social bingo gathering sometime soon!
  • Your favorite pictures and memories – it’s a really nice way to honor your memories, as well as have fun while playing bingo!

All in all, you now have everything you need to make your very own printable bingo cards at home – enjoy!
