1) Can I use gift cards (Google Play, Apple, Amazon) in Xtra?
No. Xtra is a standalone platform and does not connect to merchant stores or their balances, so store gift cards don’t work in Xtra.
- Gift cards do work when you purchase through the regular Bingo Blitz app via the app stores (Google Play / App Store / Amazon Appstore) because they are redeemed to your store account balance and applied at checkout there.
- Gift cards also do not apply on Facebook, which uses its own payment system.
2) What is Bingo Blitz Xtra?
Bingo Blitz Xtra is a standalone platform, not store‑based. You access it directly through Bingo Blitz, meaning you’re dealing directly with BB, not merchant stores like Google Play or the App Store.

6) Do I need both apps?

8) Installation Warnings for Android & Kindle
Because Xtra isn’t app store‑based, your device may warn about installing from unknown sources—this is normal when downloading directly from Bingo Blitz.
Samsung (newer models) – Auto Blocker fix:
- Go to Settings > Security and Privacy
- Additional security settings → Auto Blocker
- Toggle Auto Blocker OFF
Enable updates after install (Android & Kindle):
- Settings > Apps > Bingo Blitz Xtra
- Enable Allow installation from unknown sources (for this app)
- After installation/updates, you can re‑enable your security settings.
9) How to control which app opens links on Android
If multiple apps can open Bingo Blitz links (regular app, Xtra, VIP Pro), choose whether Android always opens one or asks every time:
- Settings > Apps
- Select the app (e.g., Bingo Blitz, Bingo Blitz Xtra, VIP Pro)
- Set as default or Open by default
- Choose Always open supported links in this app (make default) or Ask every time (choose manually)
10) What is the difference between Xtra and PLUS?
